Overloading of traffic to one of our customers overloaded a router in Redwood City causing moderate packet loss for other customers. The traffic was mitigated by Sunday the 15th, but as a longer-term solution we are upgrading the router in Redwood City to a GSR with a 10GigE connection.

LAIIX and NYIIX F-root nodes reset

Our F-root routers in front of LAX1 and LGA1 nodes have both reset due to what we believe to be a software issue. Both nodes are up. The NYIIX/LGA1 node has been upgraded to two new routers, and should no longer be showing any issues. We hope to have the LAX1 node upgraded soon.
